I just got back. At first they said that they ran out of stock two weeks ago, but then they "found some in the back". The price, apparently, is $179.99 with a $100 MIR. Not quit $48.96 -- so I left empty handed... Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and have them check the price...

BTW -- It would be awesome if they were $48.96 with $100 MIR -- even if you only got the $48.96 back...... Someone want to check that out?

pricematch it somewhere for say $129...

$179 - $50 pricematch - $100 rebate = $29 + tax.

It's not dead. The $179 with $100 rebate is a different deal. It's the modem and Visor combo. The $50 Visor Deluxe deal is a clearance. OD is no longer carrying Handspring. I got mine for $51 though. I don't why it's different. I take it that it's been going on for a while. I called 13 ODs and only one had 1 in stock.

:frown: I also stopped by a store in San Diego.... the label listed the price as 179 (~ 180?) - 100 rebate. The rebate kicks in when you purchase the modem (and sign up for service?). I'll call around and check some more stores...
