That is bs. I joined there and sold a few things, but other than that I think the place is pathetic.
 
ive been there a while, but lately that place is pissing me off. everyone there thinks they are bad asses and flame everyone, so i decided to take my business elsewhere 🙂
 
So i'm under the impression that heat23 and the rest were banned from H because they voiced their opinions about the way their admins were running things (i.e. letting banned trolls return, not updating traders to avodi, basically letting trolls run rampant and not really doing anything to stop it). The admins didn't seem to like them telling them how to do things and banned them. How freaking juvenile, not to mention retarded. Glad I signed up with anandtech, I have always had a happy trading expereince here and have yet to be ripped off. Anandtech does a great job in proactively eliminating trolls.


 
The average age of a HOCP member is 13. For some reason Kyle must get off seeing all these guys swear and hack up their cases in the forums.
 
I believe Heat and some of the troll hunters were banned for voicing their opinions in a Cyber Freak thread. That focker still owes me a rounded floppy cable.
 
the really funny part is that the deal this all started with was a trade of pirated music, 5 mp3 cdroms for RAM heat sinks

i guess its just my strange sense of humor, but thats funny, anybody that is dumb enough to complain about a trade involving illegal goods in public and then get his WHOLE forum ejected from heatware, well...

I started over at H, I was reading through their cooling forum because at the time a lot of people were talking abotu getting into evaporative cooling. Like 15 people said that they had done it and were posting how to's on various website..Not one ever did. They all lied to show how cool the were sitting in Mommy and Daddy's basement telling other kids that they have the 133test rig around. I took a look at their FS/FT forum, and it looked to unprofessional, to me it was like trying to conduct a trade on IRC or something, anyways someone over there made the mistake of linking to anandtech forums one time, and away I went. Today was the first time I have logged in there in over a year (to try to read that post)
 
Its a real shame that Hardocp has taken this stance, I to am a Trollhunter and I voiced my opinion last night in support of Heat23, (Owner of Heatware) and my support of the Trollhunters from Trollhunters.com


Whats really odd is why I was banned, I reposted the info about the Hardocp moderator that turned into a Troll, DRCHAOTICA.

Boom I was banned by Kyle Bennet owner of ocp.

I saved that thread and pages 1-6 to prove I didnt break any TOS rules at Hardocp, but you know what?

I'm better off being banned as the Admins at Hardocp have a serious Troll problem there and you dont alleviate the troll problem banning Trollhunters and the Owner of Heatware.com


When a Wolf is threatening your sheep flock you dont kill the sheep, you go after the wolf....

But the Hardocp method is to kill the sheep and the shepard 🙁

Nah not really, registration is turned on and off there pretty frequently. Alot of trouble maker trolls like to post in GenMay (their offtopic) so registration comes and goes to help cut down on the number of crap threads.
 
ahhh... the neverending drama of the computer geek. 😉 At least it makes my day interesting. The one reason i love AT so much is that the mods are so tough. It keeps people in line. I'm all for removing babe threads and f@p, it made this place look like hardforums.
 
Ya, banning heat seems very extreme, the forums there have been going to the Dogs for quite a long time now. Too bad, I always liked it there. You would think that Kyle would understand that the forums are the lifeblood of his site, but I fear any action at this point is too little too late

Fobot, Thats a really good point......had the Moderators at that site done thier jobs this would have been a non issue.
