If you can't afford those huge gyms or don't think you'd be getting your money's worth, then try to see if your city has a gym. In the city of Cerritos, there's a gym with just your basic equipment with an indoor swimming pool. It has a bicep machine, 5 treadmills, 1 elliptical (sp?) machine, tricep machine, bench press, weights of course and a couple more big machines, I just don't know the names to them

. It only costs residents $25/year and an extra $5 per family member. Non-residents can join for $50/year or in the range of that +/- $10. So after a good workout, you can just head over to the swimming pool to cleanse yourself off
Edit: Oh yeah what's nice about it is that it's in a park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and a baseball field

. There's also another gym in Cerritos that's free but the equipment is not as good. Same type of environment, courts and park.
