ratkil: Both. Britney/Christina/Jessica/Mandy are totally interchangable and annoying little twits. They all try to sound like the demon daughters of Mariah Carey (now THERE'S a hottie!) and they encourage 12-year olds to be little tramps and ask for implants. (That's not to say that if they came to my door in the night, begging and pleading for my...ahem...love skillz, that I'd send them packing. Just that they better bring a pizza and a Playstation 2 w/DOA2: Hardcore.)

Shirley's got a great, warm voice ("The World Is Not Enough" was the first decent Bond theme since "View To A Kill", thanks to her.) and a cool attitude.

i think that if you to put gwen stefani on the street, there wouldn't be much "standout" about her, but she's definitely cute as hell.

also is the fact that she's unique and not an mtv clone. that goes a lot further than all the whoring up that mtv puts britney/chritina/etc. through in order to sell albums.

Bah, you gotta see her in person. I would've stated what NFS4 said until I did a double step walking by the radio station's studio. She looks better in person and is definitely not photogenic, I don't like her photos (sounds like a Seinfeld episode!).

Defref, cool, I agree with you on those points, I thought you were infering that Gwen was one of the people "polluting" the channel. Whether or not she is "hot" or talented is a matter of personal opinion, but she and the rest of the band definately paid their dues.

btw, if you want a hot front woman for a band, check out Margo from The Cowboy Junkies. Think she was actually on People top 100 a few years ago.
