Off to the Mid-east goes GWB to rescue the peace conference which has degenerated into a low grade open warfare in the mideast.

Somewhat humorous really, GWB starts with the standard bash Iran general principles even though Iran is basically uninvolved in the direct Israeli Palestinian conflict. Then he tells Israel to quit building on the settlements when he should have said this months or years ago, and then tells the Palestinians to quit letting terrorists use its territory when all kinds of different groups will use the territory regardless of what their government says. All fine and laudable goals that the decider has decided, but I very much suspect GWB forgot the greatly needed magic wand. I think the various sides will give GWB a polite hearing and then go right back to what they have been doing for the past 60 years.
Methinks being the decider in the mid-east is not near the fun it is in the US. When GWB leaves, I am sure he will invent some more lame excuses for lack of progress.
