I have a problem with Bush's mental defect and character flaw which led him to use cocaine. Everyone knows cocaine is illegal because its use is immoral.

I had to watch that twice...thought he had a cigar in his hand and he was pulling a Cliton. In any event, I move for impeachment.

Ok then allow me to wipe the dog crap from my shoe on your pants. Let me see you do this to a stranger and not get punched in the face. BTW - that was her blouse.

One can only hope he was intentionally acting out the part of an asshole as a comedian. If so it's pretty funny, if not it's pretty sick. I can't really say from the clip and so I can't reach any judgment.

Ever think that maybe he asked the lady first? I've asked people who I could see were wearing a softer shirt than I was if I could wipe a smudge on my glasses off with it to aviod scratching the lens, it's no big deal really.

Don't judge the content of one's character based off of a 15 second video clip.

Hey, knock that nonsense off, sir; given that was your first post, we'll cut you some slack...but please refrain from using logic and reason around here--neither is very popular in these parts. :)

wow

2 new people in as many days that said something that makes sense. Maybe some conservatives found AT P&N. That would be quite a change from the radical lefties that seem to troll through.

I would settle for flaming liberals who could think for themselves--Though I am usually easily amused, the "No war for oil" and "Bush is a liar" types have sort of lost their flair and become quite boring. Isn't there an original Democrat left in the bunch?

I'm not really given to surprise nor were you stopped even this time. I took the position not to be judgmental and you judged that. You could perhaps irritate some people by doing that but for me you fit nicely into my theory. Sorry if I seemed to have popped out of yours.

And what does suprised mean anyhow, woken up for dinner?

I would have a little more respect for women then to ask, "can I clean my glasses off on your shirt?"

Well, it fits with the way he treats subordinates. There's a passage in Suskind's book on O'Neill where O'Neill first meets the President and Bush hastily and testily tells Andy Card to go out and get some cheeseburgers. O'Neill said that ol' thing about you can judge a person's character by how they treat people under them.

who knows? maybe it went something like this:
Bush: ummm...my glasses are dirty, would it be possible to get something to clean them off?
Producer: you're on in 2 minutes, so there's not really time. why dont you just use my shirt?
Bush: ok, that will work.

<shrug>

but i definitely think a Commission to investigate this is appropriate. :p

As much as I would love to rip on the chimp, I don't see this as a big deal. Perhaps more could be learned about the event if audio of it were supplied, instead of Creedance blaring. I'm pretty damn protective of my Maui Jims, and have on one or two occasions asked to borrow a buddy's sleeve to clear them off.

Now if it turns out the lady had no idea what he was doing, then yeah, that's pretty much what I would expect from that pompous ass.
