Why women are leaving men for other women



The actress in the article (from Sex and the City) has a new "partner" that looks a lot like a man. My guess is that thses women are not getting what they need from a man so they bond with "male" looking women?
 
I think it's a small subset in an overall shift in relationships. People are overworked, hate confrontation, and are losing face to face interaction skills and thus are turning to relationships of convenience. Gay or straight, people are going for easy & casual relationships more often than the tradtional marriage route.

It's further eased because lesbians don't have the same "icky" stigma that gay male relationships do.
