I wear it tied back. It's actually easier to keep up than when I had it short. I get out of the shower, comb it and tie it back and I'm good for the day. It sure beats going to some foo foo hair stylist, getting faggy highlights and moussing or gelling it up like some freelance Broadway dancer sashaying his way down the Great White Way.

Since my hair is like 3/4 of the way down my back I have to wear it in a tail at work, gets in the way otherwise. When I am at home or out it's about 50/50 up or down, but my wife likes me to leave it down more so.

Well, don't have long hair anymore, cut it a couple months ago after 15 years of long, but when I had it I used ponytails alot. Don't usually call that "putting it up" though, I also think more like a bun when hearing that.
