Sheesh! Could you advertise any louder that you're an insecure wannabe? I mean, earrings were on the cutting edge when Willie Nelson was doing his thing..........oh, about 30 years ago. Getting one today and thinking it makes you a non-conformist is sad.

Men wearing earings has been practiced for thousands of years. Who cares what some dumbass thinks about it. If you like the look go ahead and do it. For those who think it's "gay" I hardly think every pirate was a flamer.
Just Butt Pirates.

Earings are trendy these days with young guys, especially with those who have highlights in their hair. I guess it's kind of a Justiin Timberlake/Nsync thing.

And so you judge all by the actions of a few? That seems rational...
I'm not so stop being so defensive!

I can assure you that Viper doesn't come close to looking like a Member of Nsync (Mr Clean maybe😉)

I'm not being defensive 😛
Just pointing out what I infered from your post, and apparently I was wrong.

As Carbo Mentioned, Willie Nelson and the Outlaw Biker types usually have earings and I don't think they are going for that "Boy Band" look🙂 I was just observing that today that style was very popular with the younger crowd.

I've had both ears pierced since '85. I think diamond studs look bad, unless you are black, small hoops look good on almost everyone.

Pirates used to wear earrings to denote that they have survived a ship sinking.

I think people ought to dress and groom in ways that please themselves. If other people don't like it tell em to take a hike.

I wore an earring for a while. I had a really nice diamond stud that was a really great way to meet chicks. (they are drawn to diamonds, 😉 )

🙂

Ditto.

I had one done one day, that same day a girl in my english class told I'd look good with both done. Went and got the second one the next day.

Well, let's see, I got my ear pierced back in '86 because my girlfriend at the time told me she'd give me something "special" if I did it.

I left it in for a couple of years, and eventually took it out when I broke up with the girl. Bad news is, the hole is still there today. The even worse news is, that it was there when I went to Marine Corps Bootcamp.

The Drill Instructors just walked down the line and pulled out folks one by one and said "We're going to find all you faggots and make you pay for joining my beloved Corps."

They thrashed us with calisthenics for a good 20 minutes or so, and it wasn't until later that night we figured out what all the alleged faggots had in common: pierced ears.

They pulled us all out a few more times over the course of the 13 weeks and made us pay. What really sucked is they would say, "All the faggots step forward to be punished." Of course none of us would step. So they'd tell us it would be 10x worse on us if we didn't step forward and they were forced to come get us, but we always just took the punishment.

Looking back on the quality of the sex I got out of the girl, it really wasn't worth it. But I was young and dumb. At least I made it through the Marines without getting a Tatoo.

One of the many reasons I'd never join the military!

What's wrong with tattoos? And I know many Marines who didn't get a tattoo.

Tatoos are the in thing these days. It's kind of a Justin Timberlake/ NSync deal 😉

LMAO!!

In your teens and twenties then it works. Past that well it's hit and miss.

I got one in my early twenties. Took it out when I finished school and entered the real world. Put it back in my late twenties when my then girlfriend was nibbling on my ear one evening 😀 and noticed that I use to have one. I then wore it into my mid thirties. Finally got rid of it again late last year.

So what prompted me to do it. I recently bought a new condo. The guy that inspected it was a man in his forties with short hair and an earring. He look weird with one. Ok time to get rid of the earring.

The only +30 guys that look good with earrings are the artsy types. Any one else looks pretty weird. Do you here me Mr Ford?
