You know, your wallet, phone, keys, eyeglasses, lip balm, etc. I've been using a fanny pack with the strap wrapped up, but it's falling apart and never really worked all that well for the purpose intended. Some help here, please. TIA.

Wallet, phone, and keys are in my pockets. If I wore glasses anywhere but the car, I'd have them on my head. No lip balm, but I'd use my pockets for that. I usually have a backpack with my work laptop and such when I go to the office.

My pockets? I guess my belt also. I carry four five knives, a wallet, phone, coins, prussik loop/toy biner, and tobacco daily for work. I have most of that off duty also.

dude a fanny pack is a no go. Don't go there again.

Almost all the time I just use pockets. Wallet, phone, vape, keys on a carabiner clip. But if I'm headed somewhere with a few more things like say a case for my earbuds, battery pack for phone, etc.... I have a few bags to use. First one I had is military style, so it doesn't look like a man-purse. A Maxpedition jumbo versipack and some Tom Bihn bags. Both are very high quality bags. The Maxpedition is the Jumbo Versipack:

For something less military like I have a couple of Tom Bihn bags, of which the smallest is a Small Cafe Bag:

Wallet, phone, keys, pocket knife are in my pockets. I do not need anything for EDC stuff. If I travel with a few more stuff, then I will use a sling bag.

Fanny pack = hell no in my book.

Which looks like what, exactly? I like the looks of that Tom Bihn bag. And yeah, no more fanny packs.

Bihn bags are great. They are just a pleasing design and built bomb proof. Made in the USA as well. I can't remember if my cafe bag is small or medium, but checking my email I think mine is a medium. And I find it small enough.

They have all kinds of little accessories you can buy for them like little pouches and stuff to keep organized inside. Like I'll have business cards and memory cards in one. A flashlight and pocket knife in another. Batteries in another. Charging cords in another, etc..

I have 3 Tom Bihn bags and love them all. I love a well made bag. I may even have a bag fetish.

From my Gregory backpacking bag to my 2 Osprey hiking and biking bags, TimBuk2 Messenger bag, Maxpedition bag, 2 Tenba camera bags, and the 3 Bihn bags.

Backpack. I'm over 30 but look like a teenager so I can sort of pull it off. Cheapest, most common backpack around...

For a decade, I used a purse. Got tired of having to constantly adjust the strap because it was sliding off my shoulder, or making it very hard to breathe when placed across my chest.

But honestly, I've minimized my shit so most of it fits in my pants pockets. Just need the bag for by cash Zip-loc bag and carrying my phone more comfortably.

Wallet, phone, keys go in pocketses. Gym clothes go in a standard-sized backpack/bookbag. I used to carry around a gym bag, but putting all of the weight on one side/strap started to hurt my neck.

Phone wallet case has been the greatest invention. Instead of a minimum of 3 things to gather and carry everywhere, it's now 2. Because you know, we usually only have 2 pockets. You really only need a driver's license and a credit card from your wallet anyway.

Mass transit card, insurance card, Costco membership card, work ID, a couple punch cards from local businesses that offer discounts, business cards to give out, a place to put business cards you get

If you aren't sure if you would like the Maxpedition Jumbo, there are plenty of knockoffs that are much cheaper and would still be qute functional. You should be able to find the UTG messenger bag on Amazon for way less than the Maxpedition bag costs. I have one of them and it's held up fine. It just depends on what you like and how much stuff you'll be carrying around in it.

I tend to carry bare minimum, I don't even like carrying a wallet, too bulky especially in jean pockets. Typically I carry a debit or credit card or both, and maybe cash in my pants pockets. Phone will go in coat pocket as it's more roomy. In summer, in shorts pockets as those pockets tend to be bigger and more roomy without being uncomfortable. Heck sometimes I don't even bother brining the phone with me, ex: going out for only 5 minutes. Though I try to make a habit of bringing it so if I'm stuck somehow, like lock the keys in my car (hopefully not with the phone in it) or something idiotic like that I can still call someone for help.

Driver's license just stays in the car. Though I've run into situations where I get IDed and it's annoying since I have to go to the car but those situations are rare. I've seen wallets on "niche" sites that are super thin, I really need to get one. I just hate traditional wallets and how bulky they are so never bothered.

Please surrender your mancard and exit the room. As others have said, if it doesn't fit in a pocket or in a backpack it's a no go.
