guys please recommend a cheap shaver

ok im sick of shaving with razors and i don't know what brand of shavers are best

panasonic, barun, etc...?

looking to spend under $50 and i don't have a heavy beard so it's mostly for short trimming

thank you

I picked up a refub Braun 7505 Synchro shaver from Amazon about 3 weeks ago for $30 (normally $100). It arrived, in flawless condition, and has worked flawlessly. It takes a few weeks for your face to adjust but it gives a great, close shave! It's one of Braun's top models. My neck line has some hair growing in strange directions making it a pain to trim. The shaver does a decent job and my face is adjusting well. I wear a full goatee and the shaver cleanly shaves right up to the hairline, every time. I dig it and for $30, you won't find a better deal. Check the hotdeal's forum for this thread. Braun certainly makes a fine shaver.

I have heavy facial hair and have tried the remington microscreen, norelco advantage, and braun synchro. The Braun Syncho is the only one that works, and it works very well at that. I have heard the Panasonic Linear is good also, but have not tried it. The Braun is not under 50, more like 100, like Fonz said. Maybe get a refurbed one like him, if that deal is still around?

Spend $5 on a ConsumerReports.com 1-month membership and read their huge review/benchmark of dozens of electric shavers. It's worth it, trust me.
