Okay, I looked at the system. With a video card like that, you're obviously planning on doing some serious gaming, and an Athlon64 is better at gaming than a P4C.

The only full system you configured was the Intel, so I guess that one.
If you chose a 3400+, the AMD would be a better gaming box. With a 3500+, you'll have a fun time waiting for a motherboard.

you going to kick your self come sept, when the refreshes of the MB come out with the fixes, that are planned for the Nvidia and VIA chips, as both have issues with their controller chips (ie north bridge / south bridge) I'd also consider waiting to see what DFI puts out for the AMD FX-xx proc. Also have you considered that their are no power supply that have the new connectors for the PCI X videocards? but if one has to be an early adtoper ASUS is one of the nicer boards out their, and you may want to think about CORSAIR for your ramm considering the XL lantency ramm next step up from XMS :) buth hey most of the nicer componets are even in your choices, so your going to have to make the hard choices since you have to live with whatever you spend your hardearned money on.
