A quick look doesn't turn up the maker of ibm phones, but I wouldn't say its impossible they make them themselves, they did make their own for that cordless modem thing a few years ago I think....

Ragingbitch thanks a lot, it's confirmed that IBM phones made by Giant ( Manufactor in Hong Kong). You won hard contest choose your prize. I will stay away from "Giant", I trust Uniden more plus their chips made in Japan. Thanks again

have you thought of siemens 2.4Ghz phones? I have one and its the clearest thing i ever heard with a phone. I got mines for $60.00 hheheeh from a good friend. But this phone is expansive if you buy it retail Research it and see for yourself which looks the best.

i like the seimens fones as well. especially the fact that you can just add handsets and give each handset an extension number so that you can do a direct dial.

siemens mad expensive if staples had 80 off 180 code, i would of got siemens but just for regular home use, I am gonna get Uniden
