Guys: How long after shaving do you get your 5 o'clock shadow?

if i shave in the morning...usually later the evening if not the sometime the next day...but i really don't because I don't pay attention to it

Shave at 7am, shadow by 11am/noon.

It can be a pain in the ass, but the nice thing is that if I want a beard or a goat, it's there by the next day.

If in the morning, then by that evening you can tell. Sucks too cause shaving is a pain.

You can get a goat the next day just by shaving!!?!? What about a horse? or a cow?

If I shave with the grain (usually around 5:45 am), by that late afternoon/evening. If I shave against the grain, maybe a day and a half or two days.

usually the same day, but i rarely shave more out of laziness and because my boss is pretty cool and doesn't care... i'm allowed to wear piercings, have long hair and scruffy facial hair! 🙂

I know some of my friends get the shadow after 3-4 hours.

When I used an electric I'd get my shadow before the end of the work day. Now that I know how to shave properly I can go at least 24 hours without any problem.

It's usually starting to show by the evening. If not the morning after I shave. Starting to get annoying.
