Happened so many times with me it's not even funny. I can't say all the stories, but one guy came up to me on the street late at night and offered to rent us a limo for the evening if I'd go back to his place with him. So many other stories too.
Thing is, I've learned to accept it. It doesn't bother me at all anymore. Gay people needs lovin too right? I just let them know I'm straight and most of the time that's fine. Some of them are fvcktards and keep on trying until I'm very blunt with them.
I feel that way about a lotta guys...I think guys should be flattered if other guys think they're attractive/hit on them.
My ex was a theatre major and used to get hit on all the time... he's straight, but would still let them play "dress up" with him at Gap, etc. (I think because the gay guys helped pick out all his clothes, he had a stylin' wardrobe)
u sure ur ex wasnt bi?

Was going to ask the same thing. I average 1-2 gay pickup attempts a year. I normally just say I'm flattered and all but I'm not into guys....but yes it is annoying as hell when they persist after you tell them this.
NEVER apologize for being straight!Originally posted by: NetWareHead
I was buying condoms at a gas station quick mart. I paid for the rubbers and as the guy behind the counter handed them over, he winked and smiled at me. I told him "sorry I'm straight" and walked out.

That's just because you look like Lance Bass
Personally, I've never had it happen. But then again, I'm in a fairly sparsely populated area (compared to any major metro (no pun) area so no big surprise there.

Yeah, I'm never like that with girls for 2 reasons:
1. I hate it when gay guys are like that to me
2. I laugh at the lame-asses in bars who really think the girl is into them after she's said no 10 times.
