The key is to be discreet. The occasional sideways glance for a second or two is okay - but when it makes someone else uncomfortable that's just not cool.

To you, Stareatthegirlsarses!

I don't look, because the girls at the gym 99% of the time have a significant partner.

Bruno was not nice to me.

I don't think anyone wants too much attention when they're all hot and sweaty at a gym. Maybe if you're just doing weights or something.

Maybe you don't like it, but I know a lot of girls that go to the gym wearing their frat party sluttiest to try to pick up guys. Although they usually attrack the trash, they go there for the attention.

It pisses me off when I'm at the gym talking to some woman and they're staring at my crotch. C'mon ladies...I have a mind!

Note to Vash, there are more female members of this forum than ever before, check your tone, you sound like some spokesman for the Tailban, guys can't possibly control themselvves so women best cover with hot, uncomfortable sweats to work out ? An appreciative glance is one thing, have to trip over some drooling, gawking jerk as you move around the stations is another

I'm not worried about my tone at all, I am very comfortable speaking my mind, even if you and other members disagree. I work out too, I work out in LA, where there are plenty of women that go to the gym, looking for guys and they dress like they are out for a man. I've seen it more than once where I workout, so its a common thing to see many very attractive women in the most revealing clothing, trying to get attention.

I don't sit there and stare at the gym (I'm busing going to the gym to be staring at women), but if a woman is going to the gym, in the most attractive clothing, I don't think they are wearing the clothes just to feel good while working out. They are going there, looking they way they do for attention -- and doing a fine job at it, BTW.

Its a double edged sword for women and looks. One one hand, you want to look "good" and generally be accepted wherever you are, whatever you do, but where does that looking "good" draw more attention than necessary? What happens when numerous, attractive women are dressing nice and trying to get attention? They all start competing for the same space, area, etc. It may not be what you want to see and hear, but it happens. I'm just not afraid to point out the obvious, like others around here.

After reading the beginnings of this thread yesterday... I went to the gym (coincidence).

I did look at some asses. But I will be fair... 2 of these asses were wearing the short-shorts with WRITING ON THE BOOTIE.

There is no aerobic benefit I know of, no strength training principle that suggests putting writing on your butt. That's just a desire to be objectified.

Not all females are like that -- hot and non-hot alike -- but there is a certain cross-section of gym-going-gal that wants you to do nothing but look @ her rump.

My wife like many women gets creeped out by guys who gawk, luckily here we have a chain of gyms that are women only so women can workout without being subjected to the unwanted attention and or advances of men ;)

I don't see why not? As long as I'm not staring, being disrespectful to her or making her feel uncomfortable, I don't see what's wrong with looking. Besides, they shouldn't be offended by it, it's a compliment. Although I understand that a woman may not exactly appreciate a bunch of sweaty pigs gawking over her -- which is why you shouldn't "stare".
