I'm like... hmm... typical MAC, so I say "800 MHz, huh..?"

And he's like, "faster than yours!"

A first generation pentium 4 is faster than that, but I didn't say anything since I was at work.

He claims to be a gamer, I'm like... what do you play on that, Number Muncher?
 
Oregon Trail!

my favorite was Paws (the typing instruction game) because it was the only program we were allowed to use while in grade school.

i know a guy at school that claims the same thing...i dunno what hes talking about... i guess halo came out for the mac now??? he claims he cant play online games because they are too hard....ignorance is bliss to them I guess.... ive gone through 4 graphics cards since Halo was released on the PC-windows format....i'm hoping he has something recent enough to play it.....
 
At my other library job I got fired for downloading music from Limewire. I applied for a job at this library and noticed that this one still runs 233 MHz pentium II's with 64mb RAM and 4mb TNT video cards.

In all truth, most libraries don't need anything faster than that.
