And to those saying a full court shot is easy....you're dreaming.

It's not impossible. With practice everthing gets easier.

I had a killer shot I used to have when I played horse at a cousins house. I got it up to around 60% and had only seen one other person made it(Basically standing behind the corner of the house on a brick wall...could not see the basket.. jumping sidewise out and nothin bet net...sort of like what a spider does, but without a basketball)

Got the idea from those Jordan and Bird "Nothin but net' commercials a long time ago.

And in shooting long distance shots, its all about squaring up to the basket and shooting it like a normal shot, albeit with more heave. Have not tried a full court shot in awhile, but half courts aren't hard at all.

Didn't say it was impossible, but someone said full court shots were easy but thats BS. You might be shooting 60% playing horse, but theres no way you hit anything close to that much from full court.

I thought the inability to shoot from outside but could dunk while screaming in your face was required for that...

wow a lot of you guys make it sound like this guy practices 90 foot shots. I 90% of the geeks in ATOT doesn't even have the arm strength to throw a bball 90 feet.

Half court is alot easier. NBA players can easily make those in practice. I've seen guys like Kobe & Paul Pierce make it w/ good consistency. W/ a full court shot, you can't really square up shoot it like a regular jump shot like you can w/ a half court shot.

Spider

This isn't clever, this isn't original, this is just thread crapping.

this has gone way overboard. I mean, at least be clever about it.

you fools are just making asses of yourselves.

and what, sm8000, you've been here for 8 months or so (and somehow got 1500 posts in that time). were you even here when the original thread went down? Actually, you probably were, by a month or so, but this is no excuse. You need to get off ATOT and out into the world.

Spider Flame!

I like how hes making full court swishes. We always went for backboard when going for fullcourt shots.
At fullcourt?

I always went for anything I could hit 😉

Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous---but so is the person in whose name they do it for.

omgbbqgrass lollersaktes roflcopter!!!!!.!>>!!!1111 how original! :cookie:

I'll bet your penis is huge.

You would bet wouldn't you...the 'spider' thing is getting old. Yesterday. Last millenium. Done deal. Before sliced bread. Before color TV.

Don't you have anything more constructive to reply than to do the damned trendy 'spider' response? And people quoting the 'spider' response, :cookie: to you.

edit: in response to the news article, it is a rather amazing shot, i suppose. I've made hlaf courts before. Never attempted a full court shot however.

Here's a :cookie: for you since there isn't a spider icon!

For me, the news coverage is a .dat file that won't play, but the game footage is a .wvx file that does play.

i second the "spider is getting old" motion. but from the previous posts, it seems as if syringer DID post something extremely stupid. AIM/IRC quotes = funny the first time / amongst your friends, but not for other people.

it's always a n00b, complaining. BTW you have not EARNED the right to "Second" anything.

oh teh noes, a person who spends more time on the internet than me tried to put me down by saying I can't agree with something. What ever shall i do? also: pretty funny that I actually wasn't complaining about anything, just agreeing with what someone else said.

I've made one of those at high school. But we were playing volleyball, and I served the volleyball into the basketball hoop on the opposite side of the court 😉

man, she was cute too. i got her on her back, but not the way i would have wanted to.
