From reading through the comments, it sounds like he started a skiing manufacturing company before, then bought the bought (he said about twice the price of a used car). He said it costs him about $15k a year to live on the boat.

Its great that he got to do the whole thing, i'm sure he made memories that will last a lifetime. Three years out of school he had enough and went on vacation. Inspirational.

The internet is so full of this junk I automatically don't believe any of it anymore. The whole story is there. Read the blog. Use Google. Its a rich kid trying to spin his vacation pictures into a job since he quit the last one and might possibly need to earn some money for the next vacation.

This guy is only doing what most (if not all) of us wish we could/would do. I do not envy him but I do admire his courage. I only wish I had more substance to do such things.
