Hehe :p

Have been playing UO for over 4 years now with 4 active accounts :)

Have both bought and sold things for real money
Especially houses, though the market for them isn't as good as it used to be :(

I made roughly $1800 from Everquest during the one year I played it (sold my 1st account for $1000!). But that was back when I was in college and had a ton of free time to sink into the game.

I have a buddy at work plays a lot of EQ. He was telling me that 10K plats goes for $15-$20, but he refuses to do it.

People actually buy NWN items from you? All they have to do is open up the editor, and they can make the same thing for themselves...

...unless you play on a server vault world, in which case I guess it's understandable.

I recently quit EQ & sold all my stuff, accumulated over about a year. Got $3 G from 4.8 million plat. IGE is reputedly making many millions a year profit from these games.

Was about $100 per 100,000 plat *max* last I checked (a few months back)

I like this guy's logic:

1's and 0's are the raw materials of software.
they're not selling you just 1's and 0's.
they r&d to assemble the bits so they do something.
furniture companies don't just sell wood. (or do they?)
