I never understood the point of those dorm/apt building doors that are constantly locked. If someone wants to get in they can wait 5 minutes and be let in..especially in my college town.

In order for it to work, people have to not let in people they don't know.

Yeah this happened here in DC. One guy got shot in the face and died I think another get shot in the stomach and lived. Luckily the police caught the piece of sh!t that did it.

No unfortunately he got away after the shooting and the police took the video and compared it to mug shots.

In a apt building with hundreds of people there's going to be lots of people they don't know.

In a dorm building with thousands that's an even more extreme version of this case.

And people who don't let in someone because they don't know them is generally considered to be kind of an ass about it.
