heh ouch... what is he waiting for exactly, you might as well start taking them off. Paramedics don't have a magic cactus removal tools.

No, but a general anesthetic would be a good idea.
 
Eh I hate riding trails with cacti everywhere. I was a little buzzed and went on a ride without boots..ended up with some in my ankle.
 
Bwahahaha, noobs who trek through the desert for fun deserve what they get. Just because your vehicle will get you there doesn't mean you should go. Once, while black powder hunting for Javelina, I saw a startled porker run straight thru a patch of cactus and leave a hole just like in a cartoon. Even with half inch thick hide, that had to hurt.
