How did he try to defraud BB??? He had a reciept, and this store already did a pricematch for the video card before.

If you don't know what you are talking about them move on, I think Star Trek is on, go see, go see boy

In any case, I think this entire video card thing is getting out of hand and has gone too far. Hot Deals are implictly a YMMV thing -- not everyone can get in on it, but sometimes by chance you do and sometimes you don't. Geez, they even gave $30 gift cards to those who tried to pre-ordered, and now the people who didn't are clawing tooth and nail to wring *something* out.

Best Buy will end up caving in on this. So many have gotten a card for $129.95 for so many days that they cannot deny those who placed web orders for the GeForce4 their merchandise. As time goes by and stuff like this (arrest) happens, it just sours things for Best Buy. They do 15 billion in business each year, they can afford to fill the orders and move on.

For all of you who think that those who are trying to get their contracts fulfilled with Best Buy are not deserving, I bet none got in on the deal in time. Had you done so, you would feel differently now.

I got my check from the Buy.Com monitor deal last year. Buy.com's mistake was to fill some 139 orders and not the rest, Best Buy is slowly filling orders case by case in the stores and will wind up having to fill all of them.

Once again, a person with an IQ that will fit on one hand...😱

I hate to restate the obvious, but you're not defrauding a company when you have already pre-paid for something and then they don't come through with the merchandise. He had prepaid for his Geforce4, BB had stock, he came in to get it, he was arrested.

The manager at this particular Best Buy had better start looking for a job because once corporate catches wind of patrons being arrested, they won't be happy.

I give up...🙁
