I'm no expert, but I would think that's illegal.

Thats for damn sure!

This kind of attitude is not conducive towards learning.

This is the problem with the pro gun crowd. They're arrogant pricks.

stop generalizing. it makes you look just as much of an arrogant prick.

There is nothing illegal about one person selling a gun to another. It is against Craigslist posting rules though.

This. You can sell a gun private party but you must do it through a broker and fill out all the appropriate forms and apply for the background check. I know, I've done it before. It is no different than buying a new gun through a dealer.

But it is illegal to sell a gun the "Craigslist" way ... ie, meet at a predetermined location, exchange money and goods, leave.

Not where I live. I can sell via classified ad in the newspaper, the bulletin board at the local grocery store, on various radio call-in FS/T shows, et cetera. No paperwork required for a private party to sell to another, as long as they are a resident of the State or are military and stationed here, and are not a felon and such.

The way it should be anywhere.

You have to hunt for them sometimes.

They generally won't say "HAY BUY MY GUN K!"

More long the lines of "Stainless shaft semi-auto tennis racket of .223 caliber diameter"

depends on state and type of firearm. In PA, you can sell a rifle to another person face to face without any paperwork. handguns require an 01 ffl holder

Yep, and here in GA handguns can be face to face, no paperwork, no ffl, the way it should be.

bitter liberals and democrats who love the new socialist presidency

you know absolutely nothing about socialism. back to P&N with ye.

The mere suggestion that the US is or will be a socialist state is a shameful insult to the 100s of millions of people who have been killed and starved under such regimes.

what are you, 12?

Yeah, Norway is a real cesspool of poverty and starvation.😕

Methinks that YOU know absolutely nothing about socialism, particularly how it differs from communism.

That said, it IS pretty stupid to imply that Obama is going to turn the US socialist.

I was given a double-barrelled shotgun in CO when I was 15. Then we drove it across state lines and later sold it at a pawn shop in CA. No paperwork at any point.

Are you moving to China or something? I'm staying in the US, where that isn't going to happen. Unless Obama is forced to take FDR-like actions to pull us out of the shit hole. That was as close to socialism as we have seen.
