Is it just me or does this sentence make no sense:
Samuel Benally Jr. was at an apartment on West Tacoma Street when he said people should keep their guns unloaded because someone could point it at their heads, said Sierra Vista police Sgt. Brett Mitchell.

It makes sense. The report from the police officer was that the guy was at an apartment when he was talking about keeping your gun unloaded.

I wonder what happened to the people he was showing 'safety' to. That has to be some really disturbing shit. I know I'd never want to see that.

We're all better off. Why the fuck would you ever point at your self and pull the trigger is beyond me.

Plus it's generally a bad idea to keep a loaded gun in your house. The extra 3 seconds it takes to slide the mag in and rack the slide is worth the safety.

No its not generally a bad idea.

Probably was to read Ruger. They make all sorts of pistols. http://www.ruger-firearms.com/

That guy in the article was an idiot. The first rule of gun safety is to ALWAY assume the gun is loaded. Even if you unloaded it.

The 2nd rule is to always remember the first rule!!

The 3rd rule is, of course, to never point the weapon at anything you don't want shot. He failed on all 3 rules!
