Oh no! But don't worry my cowboys friends sales still exceed from before Obama's reelection/Newtown massacre. There is still plenty of fear to last many years. Maybe the NRA can have someone post a blog about the Administration going try to pass some regulations. Doesn't matter if its true its a blog. Then it will go viral and gun sales will go up. Hey and that's good for the economy! Win win.

Times change, gun nuts were going to run out of money eventually.

There was no way to save them. When they heard the news they jumped from tall buildings into pudding, where, alas they drowned with smirks etched on their faces.

OP is trolling

From the very top of the article:

Gun sales are dropping this year, according to FBI stats, but they still exceed sales from before Obama's reelection and the Newtown massacre.

Record U.S. Gun Production as Obama ‘Demonized’ on Issue

U.S. gun makers led by Sturm Ruger & Co. and Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (SWHC) churned out a record number of firearms in 2012, government data show, continuing a trend of robust production during Democratic presidencies.

More than 8.57 million guns were produced in 2012, up 31 percent from 6.54 million in 2011, according to data released this week by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which has been tracking the statistics since 1986.

Almost as many guns -- 26.1 million -- were produced during Democrat Barack Obama’s first term as president as during the entire eight-year presidency of his Republican predecessor, George W. Bush, the ATF data show.

“Barack Obama is the stimulus package for the firearms industry,” said Dave Workman, senior editor of Gun Mag, a print and online publication of the 2nd Amendment Foundation, a gun-ownership rights group.

“The greatest irony of the Obama administration is that the one industry that he may not have really liked to see healthy has become the healthiest industry in the United States

These types of things rarely peak and just plateau. I'm assuming month over month declines from here.

I urge you to carefully think about his line. The term 'healthiest industry' is misapplied. What is really meant is financially successful and for most of us that may be all that success really means, but consider what the psychological effect must be knowing that a product you make is used to murder people. When I was young I used to participate in the manufacture of nuclear missiles and even though they were anti-missiles, it bothered me. Such folk like I used to be can't know what it means to have self respect. They don't know it but they still suffer, trust me.

So you have a president who likes to use his pen to change laws and he goes on an anti-ar15 campaign along with diane feinstein. People rush out to get guns in order to have them grandfathered in. The second amendment stands strong and people are more relaxed about it and prices are back to normal.

The same thing happened with twinkies... albeit for a different reason.

Another day another troll thread. ho hum.

just think if instead they contributed to manufacturing a product that helped save lives and protect innocent people. what a concept! i could envision a scenario where it might even put psychiatrist right the fuck out of business.
