i learned on my own using airsoft guns

ugggh...you really are a moron (with a sexy ass)

You can't learn gun safety on fake guns. If you screw up, there are no consequences. You need to learn on the real thing.

That would be like saying you learned to drive on Mario Kart

Most combat infantrymen are deploying with less than 200 rounds fired through their assigned weapons these days.

That's freaking sad if true. A good buddy of mine dealing says he doesn't trust it until 500 rounds and on target. Good advice IMHO.

Man, that video's gotta be older than the internet. Still makes me wonder how that guy got to be DEA whenever I see it.

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Not just sending rounds downrange. If you're doing concealed carry, practice drawing from your holster. Reloading, if necessary. If you use a DA/SA pistol, practice in SA mode-only a bit.

95% of the people I see shooting DA/SA guns spend all of their time shooting SA... load the gun, rack the slide and start shooting. It's the DA trigger pull that they need practice with.

People that have never fired a weapon before in their lives (Navy\AF) are being deployed after firing less than 100 rounds through their weapons.

They tried to pull that on me, but fortunately I have enough sway to work my way into some shoot house and long range marksmanship training before I leave.
