gun people: do you post pics of your collection on facebook?

or anywhere online that is not anonymous?

You really are not anonymous when posting stuff on the net. If somebody want's to find out who you are, they will UNLESS you take EXTRAORDINARY measures to conceal your identity.

I know this and don't make any attempt. I've left cookie crumbs on this forum with my name, home and work addresses.

I'll even take this time to confess that I impregnated Kate Beckinsale last night.

I don't advertise the fact that I have firearms to anyone. The only people who know are those that go to the range with me.

I've posted some pics on a forum, but its a private forum with like 50 active members.

Not the same as facebook. Though sure, once it's on the net it's on the net forever but I'm not worried about it.

Not yet, but if I had a reason to I would. Simple fact is most of my "friends" aren't into shooting and more than a few might be freaked out. No need to kick a potential hornet's nest, I can show off my collection on forums where it's appreciated.

I have a few of mine on there but reading this thread reminded me that I was going to take them off. Honestly I don't think it's a huge deal to have them on there but I try not to share too much so I'm gonna remove them.

Most of the people on my fb are my family, who are not the most gun-friendly bunch. By posting pics of my weapon on FB, I'd be poking at a combination nuclear bomb/wasp nest.
