Because of his radical views, the election of Obama will cause skyrocketing sales of assault rifles and ammuntion. Now that is a legacy to be proud of. For gun rights advocates and criminals, a so called "In before Obama microstamp"

Obama hasn't even won yet and he's already stimulating the economy.

This guy just can't lose.

This is one of the dumbest posts ever on P&N. IF gun/ammo sales rose they could for a myriad of reasons. The first conclusion I would come to is worry about the economy and possible economic meltdown.

You only have 6 posts so far, and two of them were ignorant trolls already. Is this really necessary? If you are a Republican that's fine, that's great even considering they are becoming a bit of an endangered species around here. When you post though, please don't post shit. I'm sure you have some interesting things to say.

Every four years gun dealers have a "going out of business sale", playing on the fears of simple-minded gun owners that the Democratic candidate for POTUS is going to take away all their guns.

*yawn*

The rest of us have heard them cry wolf one too many times.

You obviously arent aware that Obama wont take away your guns... That is another talking point from the reps, but its not true. There will be no change to gun laws. He does want to ban AK 47 style assault weapons, but that wont neccesarily happen.

I can see buying ammo now because of Obama raising the taxes on it. I would hold off on that gun till Obama appoints his first anti-second amendment SC justice. This election either RvW dies or gun rights get crushed.

Unfortunately, the UN takes all your Guns away tomorrow! They learned their lesson from a few years back, don't announce the confiscation until knocking on the Door. Get up early, place your Guns/Ammo near the door, Unloaded, Safeties On, it'll go much smoother that way.

Agree on the former but call bullshit on the latter.

Edit: Obama supporter AND gun owner.

Why this stance, eskimospy? If you visit a gun shop (not a Walmart, a real gun shop) and talk to the people running it, its likely that you'd hear about how fast guns are being sold.

Neither candidate is viewed incredibly favorable by the NRA, but they are far more skeptical of Obama's stance on gun ownership:
