Boss DD-6 or Line6 Echo Park?

I love Line 6 and Boss stuff. The Line 6 has analog, digital, and tape, whereas the BOSS is only digital.

Go with the DD-06. Boss pedals are tanks. Plus I wasn't thrilled when I give the Echo Park a test stomp.

amen to that...my boss GT-6 has been scraped, hammered, dropped, stepped on by a fat man, and it still looks and works great.

Line6 pedals are also built like tanks. My friend who uses mainly BOSS pedals commented on how heavy and sturdy my UberMetal was. In what ways were you not thrilled by the Line6 Echo Park? It seemed like a killer pedal to me. I was sitting there for hours playing with the different settings. I just want to get some opinions.

I had a digitech x-series delay, worked like a champ. I sold it though (never used it, not much of an effects guy).

Hard to explain. I had a couple sounds I wanted it to produce that were in my head and I couldn't get them. Not like the setups at Guitar Center help though.

Lol, well Guitar Center's setups are always hard to deal with. I couldn't get any of the Line6 pedals there to wrok correctly while I was there. But I did get to try it at one of the other smaller music joints, and it sounded pretty well. The main reason I like it is because it is Analog, Digital, and Tape in one. If I was just looking for a digital delay, I would definately go with the BOSS DD-6, as BOSS has never let me down.

DO NOT get the Line6

It's a great pedal but it breaks a lot, my friend has gone through two of them.

Get the DD-6, it will survive a fvcking F5 tornado.

edit: it's built like a tank but the wiring inside the EP is like done by a 2 year old.

The AD9 is a great pedal. I'd go with that. I used to have one in my setup until I got a signal processor that pretty much did the same thing.
