How in hades do you play such a tiny instrument?

I play bass, and I tried to play my cousins guitar, and it felt like a kiddie toy!

But then, the strings were so small my callouses didnt protect me from pain, and my fingers are too thick to play anything worth listening to, so I guess I cant talk 😉

No such thing as fingers too thick to play. Ask BB King.

As a guitar player, I'd have to ask how can you play something that big? 😉

Currently playing a 1987 Les Paul Custom Lite. Bought new in...well, 87 I guess. Running it thru a Crate amp. What are you running at the moment?

Guitars are made with necks with rounded, v-shaped, and flatter shapes, wider and narrower, and with different scale lengths to accomodate different hand shapes and lengths.

Mighty Mite Les Paul clone with genuine Gibson humbucks and bridge and Schaller machines.
Hotrodded black face Fender Delux Reverb (original issue)
Black face Fender Twin Reverb (production run #4).
1970 Martin D-28 with action to die for and the voice of many gods in supernatural harmony.

I'm more of a keyboard player. I have pretty big hands, and I can stretch to span twelve keys, but I loves my guitars, too. 🙂

That's some sweet equipment Harvey 🙂

I only have a dinky Squier Fat Tele at the moment. I just replaced the bridge with a Bill Lawrence pup so it fits me fine for now (no hum playing in front of the computer). I also have a Squier P-Bass, I'm wondering how you P-Bass players get around playing on such fat necks.

that's a lotta guitar for a crate

what's that noise i hear? oh, it's your guitar begging for a marshall. 😉

99 american standard strat...... not my first choice but bought it a year old off a buddy for $300 and it was in great shape... they go for $750 so i got a steal.... running it through a 50watt crate dxj something digital modeling amp.... also have a early 80's alverez acoustic which is a great guitar.... and my "crap" acoustic is an "applause" (ovation ripoff) that plays well and sounds pretty good unplugged... but plugged in it sounds like hot trash.
