GHS Guitar Boomers Extra Light. They come (or at least came) in red and yellow package.

Oh, you meant what brand....I've just been working my way through a box (like 20 sets or so) of D'Addario's that Phil Keaggy gave me. They're pretty nice, but from what I hear really expensive.

I've always used Earnie Ball Regular Slinky 10-46's.

Oh, same as you. Didn't realize it.. I just say 10's, not 2221's. :p

Oh, Fender Squire Strat.

I don't play anymore but when I did I used dean markley's. All other strings felt like they were made of rubber compared to them. Nice and crisp :D

I've played LOTS of different strings out there. My conclusion is that no other string even holds a candle to Elixir Nanowebs. Yeah, they're more expensive, but they last longer and they sound far superior to any other string. I use Elixir Nanoweb lights on my Larrivee D-09E.

Edit: Oh, and since I wasn't around for the pick thread...I use Dunlop Tortex .50mm. They are a bit stiff when first played, but when they losen up, I really really like em. They're thin enough that I can throw triplets and sextuplets, yet thick enough to get plenty of volume out of my axe.

My favs are Dean Markley Blue Steels, 10-46. But I usually use D'Addario 10-46 because they are half the price of Blue Steels. Elixers are very nice, but I can't justify the price. I can buy 4 sets of D'Addarios for the price of 1 set of Elixers.

Pick wise, I use .88 mm or 1 mm tortex picks.

I think I've got Blue Steel 10's on there right now. I'm not real picky in general though.
I play a Telecaster BTW.

I have been looking for some flat wound for my old Hopf, anyone know where I can get a couple of sets?

Stringitup.com - they offer free shipping for orders over $35. Their prices are very competitive too. I've seen flat tops in there before.
Edit: Check out their D'Addario acoustic string section. They're in there.

My electric gutair from india is running indian strings, and if I break any i will go mad because stringing it is the worst on this one... The acoustic gutair is running american strings (it was sitting in india for 3 years untounched) - when my parents brought it here, I changed the strings immedidatly to D'Addarios but you know what it made it sound really bad.

I need to go to gutair center or something and get some really light strings or go to a dedicated music shop and get the right strings. Those indian strings i threw out.. even though they were rusted they sounded really good.

The Fender Strat (electric) i am not sure what its running.. never broke a string on it. I dont play it though..

On my '94 American Std Strat I use super light D'iarrio's (sp?). I believe they are 9's.
On my Taylor 414ce I use med-light elixirs and on my Takamine and Ovation I use Kaman's.

i play D'Addarios. On my electric, I play the lite top/heavy bottom set, that's basically like a 10 gauge set on the thin strings and 12 gauge set on the thick ones. On my detuned guitar, I replace that thickest string with a .60 bass string, whatever is cheap at the time. The last time I restringed my nylon string acoustic, I used D'Addarios, too, but I don't remember what set.

Went from Gibson Les Paul 9's to Ernie Ball Slinky 10's, to D'addario 10's, but now I've found the Elixir Nanoweb 10's to be awesome. I don't play anything else now.

I use whatever is cheapest because my gibson sg copy goes badly out of tune anyway.

I'm still using the original strings on my Fernandes Native X since I bought it about 2 years ago. :D I used to always clean up the fretboard and strings so it helped prolong the life a little bit. I think I'm going to have it setup as soon as I get my new job and have a DiMarzio FRED pickup in the bridge position put in.
