Guitar players: what brand of string do you use?

You guys oil maple necks? Oddly enough, every guitar I've owned has had a rosewood or ebony neck.

I never oil the neck or any finished part of the instrument. The only place oil is beneficial is the unfinished fretboard and the bridge (which is also typically unfinished on an acoustic instrument).

And by "unfinished" I mean no varnish, oil only.
 
I said neck, I meant fretboard. My experience with maple fret boards is limited, but they were all lacquered.

(Now that I think about it, one of my Les Pauls does have a maple neck, with an ebony fret board).
 
Recently got turned on to the Ernie Ball Cobalts. They're a bit more expensive but seem to last 3x longer than normal strings. They're a bit more "bright" sounding than normal strings, so they even out my Les Paul's dark tones very nicely.

I like .09 gauge because I do a lot of bending.
