Guitar Hero III

Yes it is indeed a lot easier, there are still very challenging songs on Expert but nowhere near the level of GHIII hardest songs.

I disagree strongly... With the exception of raining blood, and DWDTG (which isn't really that hard since it's a battle unless you're in the DLC section) what song was really all that hard in GH3? One? It was hard , but nothing compared to Hot For Teacher. It took me a while to even beat BYOB on expert. It's been a while since i've played GH:WT now so i can't think of all the hard songs now, but there were a number of songs that were so damn fast that they were far harder than anything in GH3.. again with the obvious exception of Raining Blood... but Raining Blood only had one really hard part and that was the intro... once you're past that you've got the song passed, and it's a very short song. Also in GH3, the HO/PO's were so easy it was silly. In WT they are more along the lines of the GH:A ho/po's which while easeir than GHII, were much harder than GHIII (i.e. you can't just mash buttons and get credit, you have to actually play it).

I don't think BYOB, Hot for Teacher, and scream aim fire are that hard compared to some GH3 songs. Opinions opinions...

I can't beat Knights of Cydonia... I can get about 80% of the way through then I just can't keep up. But then I actually took a look at the REAL song, and it's score, and I realized that a good portion of the last 25% of the song they have you playing the part of the keyboard/synth on the guitar. WTF! Cheaters. I suppose they didn't want a whole minute of no guitar in the middle of the song.

The last 2 or 3 tiers of GH3 are the most ridiculous, stupid, unnecessarily difficult shit I've ever seen in a music game. I actually beat the game on hard, but expert is a joke (as in too hard)

Lou is the only thing I never beat on Expert on GH3.. it's just not worth my time. I could spend a few hours practicing it.. or I could play my real guitar 🙂

Yay, I not only beat Lou but also completed Knights of Cydonia for the first time (on medium). My trick... use the wired guitar. 🙁
