I've 5 starred medium, beat hard with everything up to the 6th tier 5 starred, and am on the 6th tier on expert. Just got past 'freya' on expert today which for some reason was giving me a damn hard time.
 
I started right on hard because I played GH1 already. I passed hard in the first week and slowly working through expert. I'm working on Set 7, and I'm 3 starring most of the expert songs, just barely surviving.
