You know, if you would spend the same amount of time learning to play an actual guitar as you do playing a retarded video game, you might actually benefit your life.

you know, if you spend the same amount of time interacting with others IRL as you do posting on ATOT, you might actually benefit your life.

ZING!!!

Watch out guys, you mess with him and you'll be messing with death remember ;)
Im sorry dain I couldnt resist, that pic is makes me laugh with the two people looking all serious sporting guns and the guy on the laugh cracking a smile :)
Not really the best pic to use to show how tough your trying to be;)

As for the OP's question. I love the first one. I like to play it mainly for the music. I dont have the controller. got the game dirt cheap and you can use the regular PS2 controller to play it. Once the new one is out for a bit and some one buys the spare controller and lets go of the game cheap I will jump on it as well. Again its mainly for the good music and the fact they dont use cover bands either so you get to fvck around and listen to songs and actually have some fun making a fool of yourself. Im sure if I had the right controller I would look more of a fool but I dont care its all about the fun :D

Actually they did use cover bands. You can watch them in recording sessions in the unlockable videos. You can also tell that the incubus song doesn't sound right to the regular one if you liked incubus at all.

They use very good coverbands, but they are not the original performers for the most part(minus bucket head's offering in gh2 I believe). They are just fully licensed songs.

Now, aside from that. GH2 has been pwning me hardcore compared to the original. I can't just jump in on hard, I'm having to go through the career mode on medium to get the hang of it again. I am enjoying the game though. I do miss some of the newer rock selection though, seems to have catered to the older school this time around. Still good, but I miss stuff like Infected, or Take Me Out.

Primus didn't use a cover band either.

Well then yes thoes are some damn good cover bands. Unlockables??? I guess I better check my game out. I been having fun just playing it. Never bothered to go through much else, but damn I would of sworn and put money on the line they were the actual bands playing. Man that zz top one is spot on the money for I play it the most :D

I think it's great! Better then Gears in my opinion. Graphics are really nice, better then 2 and the multiplayer is outstanding.

When you play through on career mode, you earn cash for your gigs. You can spend that cash on new songs, guitars, characters and movies and a few other things in the shop in the career mode.

I play the real guitar and this game. It's pretty amazing. I've had GH2 for almost 2 weeks now. Target made a mistake and sold the games for a few hours after they got in the shipment. I was lucky enough to pick one up =)

The gameplay of GH2 is 1000X better than GH1. Hammer ons and Pull offs are so much easier. Enjoy it.
