There is a deal at Circuit City too. You get some amount of points (1600 I believe) if you buy the guitar+game for $89.99.
I heard there will be no online multiplayer. Is this true?

I think that there is no online multi, but there is a headset jack on the guitar.![]()

I agree with the above - I've been waiting on this game for ages, and more than once nearly bought a PS2 just to play it... The downloadable content will drive this to another level, if they come through with it on their side.
Pre-order with 2 guitars arrives today, and how impatient was I that I picked up the game up at Circuit City on Saturday anyway, just to get a few days play in? Oh well - I'm sure a friend of mine will buy the extra copy off me...

Its definitely one of the greatest games ever created. Its almost injust to be able to rock like this without having to actually learn how to play the guitar.
Normal mode can be pretty tough...but I actually found Hard mode to be a bit easier in some ways. Hard feels *much* more like you're playing an actual guitar - easy mode just basically puts you in a mode where you use one finger for each of the 4 frets, and it just feels unnatural to go through power chords by switching fingers rather than moving the ones youre already using.
My biggest gripe is the loud spring in the strum thingy - if you actually strum it up and down, its real loud and twangy...if you just push down on it like its just a button, its real quiet...but I just can't rock like that.
But yeah...my wrist feels like its about to fall off. At least my fingers arent bleeding from the strings.![]()

Are the guitar controllers only wired right now? I thought I read that somewhere but it'd make sense that they'd make wireless guitars.
