you have your tastes - i have mine.

Granted. Of course, mine are better 😛

Agreed, although we can't diss people that drink mega-swill and can't stand other brands. I've learned that although maybe we can't tell the different between BMC/Labatt people used to it can.

I wish Minnesota would get Arrogant Bastard! Although we do have Bell's and several other nice beers.

Speaking of watered down: do you realize that when your friends are really drunk, and being annoying... you can trick them into thinking you are giving them another beer if you just pour water into a "empty" glass of guinness? The little remnant of Guinness at the bottom of the glass and 12+ oz of water mixed together looks like "normal" beer, and if they are truly drunk they'll never notice the (small) difference in taste. They'll puke less this way, AND not complain about their hangover as much in the morning.

Heh... this would be a beautiful part of a thread titled "How to drink like you're Irish"... just put it in the section "dealing with people who cannot keep up with you, but try"

Just picked up a 6-pack of Bell's Kalamzoo Stout for tomorrow. $8.99 + tax/dep. 🙁 I was going to get Guinness Extra Stout but it was a buck more and I know I like Bell's.

My 3rd (+ a sip) beer was a dark beer and I have already aquired the taste. Since I turned 21 I have had a sip of Miller's Lite, then 2 Killigan's Reds, then a Bell's Kalamzoo Stout.

Everyone who drinks Guinness already know the information this link has but I thought it would be educational for those who think Guinness is like drinking "moror oil". Plus the link is fun!

How does Guinness match up?

FAQs and Folklore: Pretty good site, check out the FAQs and Guinness and Health.

Can't believe I missed this thread, take a look at my sig, think I enjoy Guinness!?
