Isn't Guiness that nasty tasting stuff?
Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm running out of my case of beer (I get about 1 every 8 months) and it's time for me to pick another one. I like Laugers. I think Yuengling is good, right now I"m trying Samuel Adams lager but I don't think it's as good. I like the deep rich flavor but not necessarily the bitterness. Any other laugers you recommend? Is Stout the even darker stuff? Any good Stouts you recommend?

Quite a few people I know like Guiness. And these aren't the "Meister Brau rocks because I can get drunk for $5!" type of drinkers.

Be prepared for a thick, hearty beer with lots of flavor 
If you want to go lightly at first, try a balck and tan, that's Guiness stout and Bass Ale.

a real black and tan is Guinness and Smithwicks. Why sully the taste of Guinness with something like Bass???
