It's not like any(at least not like most rpgs out now)other rpg. You play online, there are many areas were there can be more then 8 people,(doing things to, not just standing around)
theres most likly going to be voice chat built into the game, theres player vs. player fighting, partys killing monsters fighting, guild vs. guild fighting, and thats just fighting. While the creators do say, " Rather than labeling Guild Wars an MMORPG, we prefer to call it a CORPG (Competitive Online Role-Playing Game).", it still is not like "any" other rpg.

There are differences between MMO's and other games, Guildwars does not qualify. There are multiplayer games that support over a hundred people, but they are NOT MMO's, Guildwars is NOT an MMO.

The only difference between Diablo and Guildwars is that the battle.net chat rooms in Diablo are now the towns in Guildwars. It is not an MMO. Given that, I enjoyed the quests in Beta and may get it.

Well I don't think comparing it to Diablo is the best approach though really, the interface is completely different. If it is as fun as Diablo was, I'd play it. But I never get a chance to get into beta events because I'm always busy.
