Anyone play Guild Wars?

I just started an Elementalist. I am trying to figure out a complimentary secondary profession. I chose Ranger because I like sending the pet in for some extra DPS. Does anyone have suggestions on which secondary prof makes sense for an elementalist?

Thanks

I chose a Necro for secondary. It made sense to me to pick something else that needed lots of MP.

I use an Ele/Assassin. For most of my builds, I don't have any room for any of my secondary's skills. However, one build that is made for killing lots of lower level foes uses the assassin skill 'Assassins Promise'. Instant recharge of all skills. Great stuff.

I like necro too. I play a geomancer+necromancer, because to really use aftershock I have to be in the thick of it. Dropping some wards, cast skills that drain enemy HP and, man, I can't think of the skill name right now, it's the elite one that does damage to all the adjacent foes when the one foe gets damaged... then when they come for you (or the tanks need some finishing damage) drop them with whirlwind and kill them with the shock :D

I have a E/R and I have done well with it. Having the pet helps keep some of those PvE enemies off of you and on ur pet.

If you like player versus player and multiplayer diablo like games, it should be for you.

Do not expect much in the way of a massive persistent world since it is not a MMORPG, everything but the outposts are instanced (IE you will see no one but your party and computer controlled... things). You will also experience player contact in the PvP matches.

Me and my wife love it. And we have 4 accounts to prove it. Looking forward to getting 3 copies of Eye of the North soon. :D

Oh yea, I forgot about my echo nuker build. Echo firestorm is great with Mark of Rogdort <sp>. Too bad they raised the recharge to 15 seconds on it though. :)

To start I would go with Monk secondary to help keep yourself alive. Once you get to where you can change it you can run anything really. There are some classes where any secondary will work well. I never use my secondary on my ele though and if I do it's monk for rez.
