allright, all you ATers. I started a guild with a pal of mine ~ 1month ago. This is a call for those of you who play GW and don't have a guild or want to leave your current one. It's just the 2 of us in the guild currently, but I'm working on joining a friend's alliance. (very active, helpful people) So..we need more members to do this. Also, if the AT guild is truly defunct, and some of you are still around and haven't left, feel free to switch over.

I don't want to recruit the way most people do: just spamming for random people in one of the major outposts. We're looking for mature people (all ages welcome, but no assholes--hence why we request maturity). We're extremely laid back, and those are currently the only rules we have...

The hall is about 1/2 stocked with NPCs, but we're working on that. I have lvl 20 characters for just about every profession, and do lots of PvE. very helpful....from advice, loans, gifts, whatever. I'd like to get into more PvP, but I don't do too much of it at the moment.

The guild is Dudes Abiding [dude]. So, that should telll you something about our attitude 🙂
All things Lebowski are welcome in our guild, White Russians flow like the Nile, and while not required, creating a character with an offensive name is certainly welcome 😉

Hey zin, what's up? Long time no talk man. I haven't played GW in a while but I need to get into it again seeing as every guild I have been in has Fubared, the AT guild and the last one we were in but since the last invite you sent me, I checked it too late, maybe you could send me another invite so I can get ready for the next Guild Wars Expansion pack that is getting released soon.
 
NP. let me know when you think you'll be on. I can't send an invite until you have left the other one, and I think guest invites are only good for 24hr.
 
I've got the first two packs, but haven't really played much.

Anyone see the articles about it going to GW2, does that mean that at some point they will be turning off the original servers? Was thinking about picking up some more modules ot play, but not if they alreayd will have a limited shelf life.
 
i think they'll still keep GW1 going...I hope at least. I'm sure as ****** not erasing all fo the time I've wasted in these 9 characters.....
 
bump and more info. I do a lot of faction farming these days, and can help anyone who's interested, or simply has no idea what that is 🙂

I aim for the guild to be able to that on a regular basis, and do high-level farming in UW and other elite areas to help everyone make tons of cash. Also, more AB and HA if we can get a good mix of people.
 
I havent played in quite some time, but I'd be willing to give it another shot. I only have the original and have a level 16 monk / ranger. If I hop on there sometime, I'll give you a shout.
 
shoot me an guild invite. i just left mine a couple days ago.

finding an active guild is hard nowadays. i've got 2000hours logged all of it pve. all i do is farm with a couple friends now.

I just bought Guild Wars Prophecies and Guild Wars Factions the other day... but I haven't opened them yet 😱.

goatjc--glad to see your primary is a monk. With a little time and help, we can help you on your way to making a nice money-earning character, which is always a nice addition

I think the guild is about to join an Alliance soon. I'll keep everyone updated in-game. Also, I will continue to be as helpful as I can, but would also never require anyone to be constatnly active in-game. I prefer people to have real lifes outside of on-line gaming, which is the purpose of forming this guild 😉

I've heard there was a problem with that, and I believe there is a thread in here addressing it...has to do with 64 bit Vista...
