Guild Wars $39.99 Free Shipping at Best Buy

What...the...fvck. I just bought it at EBGames like 2 days ago for $49.99 cuz it was the same price everywhere. Now BB puts it on sale for $39.99, gayity. Does EBGames pricematch?
 

Fun game.

Level 15 and still really enjoying the PVE. Really nice system of missions/quests that take you through a story, complete with cinematics. If you don't have friends the game even gives you NPCs/Henchmen/barnies to give you a hand. Have not tried PVP yet.

The instanced worlds/missions rock. Basically take everything bad out of a MMORPG (KSers, leveling grind, Kampers, griefers etc) add a dose of decent RPG style quests and you have guildwars......

Only problem is you can only go to level 20? In a few weeks I'll make that, then we'll see if I get bored or other classes/PVP keep me interested......



 
Very fun game. Best rpg I've ever played. Working w/ people online for free and even pvp 4 on 4 makes this an outstanding game.
 
From what I understand 80% of the game content of for people level 20 and higher.
At the piont instead of leveling youm play to get the armor sets, weapons set and skills/spells. At these level I here you can have 8 people in your party instead of 4.

Most of the crazy hard mission you will need 8. And most you will have play once and die and them figure out what spells/skills you need to actuqally complete it. That or join another group thats has already did it and need someone to fill in the gaps.

I have 3 level 6 character. In week my friend will decide on thier charcter tehy are keep and we will all play together. Very nice game. And no fees mean we don't have to get pissed paying for something that we only have few hours a week to play.

The PVP fights are brutal. Teamwork is everything we have none. We won 1 out of 8 fights, and the people we beat, just charged us, with no direction at all. Very fun but hard. I figure by the time we get to level 20 we should be able to win some group pvp battles.

I'll pm you once I decide to quit my current guild which I will probably do soon... just joined to get a stupid cape so I don't feel left out haha.

I've had the game for a few weeks. It's fun. I find that it's easier to hire the henchmen then to find other people to go on the missions that I want to do. I wonder if most people do the same thing or do they mission with real people?

It depends. If I"m playing while trying to do 4 other things... Henchmen. THey don't mind when I leave the keyboard for 30 minutes to talk on the phone.

But when I have the time to actually focus on the game: People People People People.

Adds so much more to the game watching humans die than just watching stupid stephan go down for the 80th time.....
