An external camera would be a better option -- even fairly entry-level usb web cams are pretty impressive these days. That way you're not forced to get a laptop that's likely more powerful than what you actually need (and as a result, far more expensive).

Op bought a gaming laptop. On credit. With no income

I find it mind boggling when "content creators" use a laptop webcam to record youtube videos. I'm going to assume the OP has a relatively newer cell phone which probably has a decent quality camera vs some no-name $2k gaming laptop.

You are assuming that he is going for quality. Gizmo reads Wikipedia articles and posts them.

I mean if he starts selling his other fluids and there's lots of little Gizmos running around it's your fault now!
Weird, you don't normally say something is somebody's fault after they've done a good thing.
"Who saved the children from the burning orphanage?
It's nakedfrog's fault!"
Someone's gotta offset all the American Jesus cult-member's children, and I've already done my part :colbert:

He better not be putting out fires with bodily fluids!

I mean I can't argue with that!

Post #35 has all the context you need!

Would've been far cooler if dark ambient music was playing the whole time, and a wide cast of strange and scary characters would look through the window at random intervals; approximately every 15-30 minutes.

Shame I don't have more time on my hands, that sounds like a fun project.

'snot really "old school", is it? I assume he's talking like 2000s-era.
