Hi, I have some pop ups on my desktop that I can't get rid off. I've tried spybot, ad-aware, and avast antivus software. I got this bcray.exe and cupdate.exe thingy and I can't get rid of them. Here's my Hijackthis log, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before you do anything
1. Make sure that you have extracted HiJackthis to a folder that is isolated before removing anything, for hijackthis makes backups within the folder it is in.
2. Reboot into safe mode
3. Close all browsers/windows explorer

fix the following, rember to kill the process in process viewer before removing (if applicable)

Before you do anything
1. Download winsockfix, incase your internet connection dies. do not run this program unless your internet connection dies and LSP fix will help too in such a situation. With this massive amount of infections the chances of the malware killing your internet connection after being removed is highly likely, familiarize yourself with winsockfix and lsp fix instructions.
2. Go to add/remove programs and remove the following (if they are present in the list), reboot if requested. uninstall: MyWebSearch, webHancer Survey Companion, TV Media, websearch, Spyware remover (it is NOT your friend), WebRebates, zSearch
3. Make sure that you have extracted HiJackthis to a folder that is isolated before removing anything, for hijackthis makes backups within the folder it is in.
4. Reboot into safe mode
5. Close all browsers/windows explorer

Just an update on Vbouncer. From what I read it was just a flaw in Spybot. When you download and run the new update (out today). It doesnt show up. So they fixed it. My 10 hours of searching the web to find ways to get it off my computer were in vain. IT WASNT ON MY COMPUTER.

I got issues (PC ones)...lol

i do not see anything malicious in your log. try a online virus scanner if you think your IE window can stay open long enough. sorry, i dont know what is causing it. i would remove this though

Thanks Shadenfroh. Browser freeze-ups only seem to happen when I type in a new URL or type in a search via Google toolbar. Doesn't appear to by spyware/virus related at least. Maybe a drive format in my future.

Before you do anything
1. Make sure that you have extracted HiJackthis to a folder that is isolated before removing anything, for hijackthis makes backups within the folder it is in.
2. Reboot into safe mode
3. Close all browsers/windows explorer

Hi all, i keep getting a popu window sayin Bonus Coupon and when i right click in it it shows a flastrack address, i used the fake tool; they have in their site and surprise surprise it doesnt do anything. Anyways Im not a programer but i can press that little search button and found this forum. It all started after i tried to install grokster since i couldnt find a free kazaa lite anymore (no worries i found one). Here is the file hijackthis shows me, let me know if i posted it right and let me know if anyone can help me and explain every step please. I deleted a few keys and used a lot of spy and adware removal tools but i always get the popup on my homepage and every few minutes while surfing in the internet, thanks for any help.

tresspaser, you have some adware that is replicating the folder, i think it maybe caused by the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Xcpy1] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Xcpy1.exe"
O2 - BHO: Flash Enhancer - {7CD20E91-1F31-41da-8379-479EA31DF969} - c:\Program Files\XML\XML.dll

delete the folder "c:\Program Files\XML\"
delete the file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Xcpy1.exe"

hi Schadenfroh. how's it going brotha? i was wondering if you could help me with a little spyware problem. pretty much the spyware is redirecting my homepage in ie, and on occasion popups show up on that site. i'm pretty sure it's the bho in this case but i wanted to check before i nuked it. thanks in advance.

Before you do anything
1. Make sure that you have extracted HiJackthis to a folder that is isolated before removing anything, for hijackthis makes backups within the folder it is in.
2. Reboot into safe mode
3. Close all browsers/windows explorer
