hehe.. hes always here.. and its not that hes annoying.. he just never leaves the room.. or the tv.. the times i am in the room are gonna be either sleeping or on the tv... and a lil computadora action too.

I had a roommate like that in college @ UF.

For about a week, no one called me when I first moved up there...found out why...the phone was busy 24/7 with him being online playing Gemstone III.

Oddly enough, he had never been accepted by UF and ending up leaving a few months later.

No idea what happened to him.

I had a roomate like this. I thought the answer was to get him to party, but when I had some friends come over to smoke some weed, he cried. Yes, an 18 year old CRIED when people talked about weed. He was terrified at the thought of consuming alcohol too. He was the sorriest person I have ever met, and I thank god I will never have to see him again. Partying wasn't the answer... the answer for me was never going back to my room. And thats what I did all year... avoided him like an STD. The ONLY way I ever got him out of the room is when I needed some uh... personal time with a girl and I told him to get the f*** out or I would break his computer. I think he went to the study lounge late Friday nites when I kicked him out... he didnt have any friends.

I would say just dont go to your room. Then at the end of the semester, dont talk to him ever again and get a new roomate.

Lol.. I don't think what you did was the answer. You probably made him worse 🙂 Maybe he was a foreigner? Anyways, you should have introduced him to some of the stuff 😉

I had a similar roomate, except, instead of being glued to the TV, he was always reading a book.

Talk about awkward moments

My roomate was such a wierdo. One day I left for class and I noticed he was watching Hershey candy being made on some stupid local channel. He is just sitting there and really enjoying it. I return approximately 3 hours later and he is still watching hershey kisses going thru machines and being wrapped up, but here is the kicker he is totally thrilled clapping his hands with a smile ear to ear..... what a whack job...

I've seen some bud that's almost made me cry 😀

lol. Been there done that. When the green is so sticky it sticks to your finger and you cant pull it apart because it so so dense. Mmm... the good ole days😀

He was born and raised in Maryland. No one understood how or why he was like that.

I had the same situation last year, two roomates, both of which, when they were here, were in their rooms with the doors closed. I enjoyed it, it was like living by myself, no competition for the bathroom, common area, or anything. Sounds like you have a different room layout though, I'm in a suite with 4 separate bedrooms.

This year I have roomates that actually come out and talk and stuff, and that's cool too.
