The wife, one time, dropped hers in a rest stop toilet that she had already pushed the flush lever on.

She said she reached in there and caught it just as it was going out of sight. I said, "You're a trooper, honey."

Dropped my V600 twice. Once walking out of Physics having received a B+ on the midterm when I expected an A. Then again I never learned Thermo in high school so oh well. Got SCRATCHED like crazy

Dropped it another time because my pocket had a hole in it (WTF) and it slid down my pants and fell on the street. I was crossing the street too. Took a risk and bent down to fish it out of my pants in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD.

Dropped my old Samsung phone about 2 - 3 times only.

Cell phones dont get dropped often. I've dropped my iPod at least 10 - 15 times. Once I dropped it on the bus while getting off cuz my headphones got tangled. I even left it in a cab once in Taiwan and by the time I figured out I took off running. Luckily there was traffic and I caught up.

I've had my Samsung i500 for 3 months now, and haven't dropped it yet. I have the $4 a month insurance on this baby. When I had my Sony Ericsson t68i I probably dropped it about 5-6 times.

Did it still work even after being submerged in water? 😕

Yup, for about a year, then Sprint said it died of water damage. It was hard to argue with them, but I tried.

i've dropped mine maybe 5 times in my life. first phone was unuseable by the 3rd drop. the second i can't remember if i ever dropped but it died in the washing machine. the 3rd phone always turns off when i drop it, but starts right back up again works like a charm (aluminum body probably helps).

One hundred time I would guess or estimate, but I dont know how to guesstimate.

I was just going to make a crack about that. But I think its irregardless to this forum.

Anyway, I have never actually dropped mine. I have thrown it against a wall several times.

prolly 30 or 40 times, thats the current one i got 3 months ago.

i dont care for it, its an lg flip/camera phone

but appearently its though, because concrete is what i usually drop it on, or a tile floor.

I've only dropped mine maybe 3-4 times in the last year and a half, not bad really.

Guesstimate is a word.

It is "An estimate based on conjecture.", "An estimate that combines reasoning with guessing.".

I've had my current phone for 3 years and I've never dropped it. It stays in my pocket when I'm not using it and plugged in at night. I'm perfectly able to hold the phone to my ear without dropping it. If I have 5 or 6 things in my hands and my phone rings, it stays in my pocket and I don't answer it. I can call them back when my hands are empty.

It isn't that hard to *not* drop your phone. You definitely need to work on your hand/eye coordination if you're dropping it 3+ times a day. Do you accidentally poke yourself in the eye with the antennae too?

10 to 24. Damn belt clip clicks but doesn't always lock. Here I am climbing up a ladder, wrench in right hand, pipe fittings in the other, POP-Click down on the floor it falls. I'm glad it's a work phone.

The last time i dropped mine was during my bike accident.

Phone got owned by my hip...crushed.

LOL, I would tend to agree.

I can only really remember one time it was dropped on concrete, and my girlfriend did it. 😛 That actually left a slight mark.. Other than that, just a few times.. but usually in the house.

Actually, I did drop it last night.. I was in the middle of changing the oil in my truck, and my Mom called.. Just kept right on going... Dropped it when I had to use both hands for something else... One to hold the funnel up and one to pour.
