Where is this "clear cut" election victory that CNN was yammering about? W only beat Kerry by a few electorial votes, and there are entire regions of the country that voted against Bush by a wide margin. "Revisionist History", anyone?

well, "Person of the Year" doesn't mean Time Magazine supports his decisions, it just means they think he's the person who has had the most affect on the world. for example, Hitler could've been voted person of the year because he changed the world so much (for bad).

The Ayatollah was man of the year once.....

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- U.S. President George W. Bush's bold, uncompromising leadership and his clear-cut election victory made him Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2004, its managing editor said Sunday.

So WTF is your point? His leadership HAS been uncompromising and bold, and he DID win the election convincingly.

he was close for 2001, but Guiliani got it. I thought Bin Laden should have gotten it, being the worlds most "influential" person that year. I think a lot of people were really hesitant though that it would send the wrong message.
