I'd suggest ya use an IRC client to get into neochat.. the website interface seems rather, uhh, dead. 🙂

the channel is on undernet - there's a list of servers at http://www.undernet.org and the channel is (duh) #neochat.

mIRC is a pretty good client for windows, it's available from http://www.mirc.com
