okay , you can have Lutefisk - the national dish of norway

a Cod fillet that has been soaked in Lye/Acid until it has literally been stripped of all smell, texture, and taste

Get some surströmming instead. Not really Christmas food, and more swedish than norwegian, but talk about nasty!
